Betsy Lou Pattern Company was initiated by Betsy Moyer and Louann Edmiston in Findlay, Ohio. Both women were taught to sew at an early age by their mother and grandmother respectively and have been sewing ever since. The launch of their pattern company grew from their desire to share their sewing experiences with others. Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced seamstress, their patterns encourage you to create your own unique design by using their patterns as the base. And although large pieces of wool are retail purchases, they incorporate recycled wool in many of their designs. Their mission: We encourage you to use all available resources in obtaining wool or other fabrics for our patterns. We try to use recyclables from vintage clothing stores or from our own closets. We also hope that you make this pattern your own by dressing it up or down with embellishments of beading, buttons, and embroidery. Made in America.
