Radko Grecian Column - Silver

Extremely rare, the 1987 Radko Grecian Columns were created by only the finest master glass blowers. Free blown with no mold - each piece is slightly different. Glass blowers today either don't wish to make pieces this complex, or don't have the talent.
According to "Christopher Radko The First Decade 1986 - 1995":
"This wonderful freeform ornament is blown without the help of a mold to guide the glassblower. Because of the narrow segments, it is also quite a challenge for the silverer to get the silver nitrate coating evenly spread throughout the interior. Due to the amount of work, the ornament took longer to make, so few were produced."

A great find!
